I am Bijjoyini Ghosh. I am from India. I have completed my BA LLB degree (2012-2017) from Kingston Law College (India). Currently, I am an LLM student (2018-2019) at University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom). I am very much impressed by the opportunities provided by the college to every student. I have not only received high-quality academic education, but have also been presented with opportunities to volunteer, work, and self-improve through intensive internships. I must say my professors and mentors at Kingston Law College appreciates students and is aware that they make a considerable contribution to improve their students in all aspects from academia to professional sectors. During my studentship, I got several opportunities for internship programs nation-wide including “Nation Human Rights Commission”, New Delhi, “Law Commission of India”, New Delhi and“Delhi State Legal Services Authority”. It goes without saying that I have been highly inspired by my principal and professors to guide me through these applications and encourage me to peruse these research internships which has certainly favoured my further studies for post graduate program in United Kingdom.

My lecturers were always enthusiastic about making the course enjoyable. They also mentored me on gaining experience within my chosen profession by attending conferences, networking and becoming involved in different projects. The college is very well-focused on the student’s welfare with every member of its community well trained to give students the help they need. At the end, there’s a perfect balance between study and fun here, as it provides and fantastic student support.

Thankyou

Greetings for the day! This is Pratik Sensarma, an Indian citizen, residing in Kolkata of West Bengal. I have pursued my BBALLB degree from Kingston Law College during the time span (2012-2017). At present I am working as a Legal Officer with the reputed organisation, Baja Allianz. I am extremely thankful to my college for guiding me with the correct opportunities and mentoring me with thorough knowledge and understanding of the subject. I should definitely put in a word about our faculty whose main focus was to groom us through all the necessary sectors not only restricted to academics but also other correlated activities.

It is due to their eminent guidance I have got a chance to sharpen my potential to the core. Post my law graduation I have been practising as a junior Advocate of Alipore Court, one of the prestigious legal arenas of West Bengal. At present, I am posted as a law officer in Baja Allianz. From career counselling to the implementation of my career goals, my college has been a constant source of support.

Thankyou

We should all feel confident in our intelligence. By the way, intelligence to me isn't just being book-smart or having a college degree; it's trusting your gut instincts, being intuitive, thinking outside the box, and sometimes just realizing that things need to change and being smart enough to change it that's what my KLC injected in me. So that your legs don't shake in front of any challenges ahead and you rise like a Phoenix above all.

Thankyou
