Kingston Educational Institute since October 2023, has undertaken a great initiative in commencing the most resourceful course in “Forensic Accounting” in collaboration with Grant Thornton, from October, exclusively for enhancing its student's expertise and professional excellence. A seminar on the same before starting off with the course is conducted exclusively for the students to enlighten them regarding the benefits and merits of Forensic Accounting.
Grant Thornton LLP is the American member firm of Grant Thornton International, the seventh largest accounting network in the world are providing the opportunity in collaboration with Kingston Educational Institute to shape the expertise and knowledge of accounting practices, regulations, and finance law of the participants which in turn will benefit them in fulfilling their professional responsibilities.
An insight into the forensic accounting along with a detail guideline is provided by our expert CA Kavita Kapoor, to the students under the assistance of a well-equipped computer lab at the college campus of Barasat. Subsequent to a successful completion of the course, it shall lead the students to a thorough understanding of the roles of accountants, auditors, lawyers and fraud examiners; create an awareness of the relevant legislation that governs economic crime, including common law aspects and the law of evidence, even sensitise the participants on all aspects of employee and management fraud
